Mr Gupta is an incredibly knowledgeable consultant who guided me every step of they way. Explaining things clearly & making sure I was fully aware of the treatment & after care. After a fall I was seen for my right shoulder arthroscopy plus subacromial decompression plus ACJ excision. The surgical procedure was simple & the physio exercises easy to follow. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dr Gupta is an incredibly experienced shoulder specialist. I had been warned that having a shoulder replacement is a very complicated operation and many things can go wrong. Unfortunately a nerve was stretched during surgery which caused temporary numbness. Dr Gupta was very reassuring and along with the physio, encouraged me to continue with the exercises as best I could and everything would come back to normal. He was right! It's now 6 months since the operation and I've got full movement, nearly full strength and am back to swimming 1km with no pain. I'm very grateful.

Mr Rohit Gupta carried out left shoulder arthroscopic capsular release surgery along with left elbow CEO tendon tear release/debridement plus repair on myself at the Runnymede Hospital on the 6th March 2023. After 3 or so follow-up appointments with Mr Gupta and physio sessions under Saurab at the Runnymede along with gruelling home physio I'm now 7 months post-surgery and delighted to be more or less totally pain free and have full movement in my shoulder ! My aim is to be swinging a gold club pain free within the next 3 months and hopefully I'm on track to achieve this. The whole process from my original consultation up to being discharged from follow-up was dealt with very professionally by Mr Gupta and his staff. He provided concise and clear instructions of what would happen during the surgery and the anticipated recovery period and I would have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend Mr Gupta to any patients considering surgery in the future. Many thanks Graham Hill

I had 2 separate incidents when I fractured my shoulders. I had the first Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement in July 2022 for my right shoulder and the second in March 2023. Both were done without complications and although I do not have total movements as I had in the past, it is much better than before the operations. I have a rare condition: Dextrocardia with Situs Inversus Totalis when the position of both the thoracic and abdominal viscera are reversed that it is a mirror image of normal anatomy. This does not interfere with my daily tasks or my reverse total shoulder replacement, but looking at my x-ray it is interesting to see what is left or right.
